Band Biography

The Embers were formed in 2003, we are a 5 piece independent rock/acoustic/folk/alt-country type phenomena who have entertained locally at pokey pubs, big clubs, large leisure centres and prodigious outdoor festivals.

The Embers have released 2 wonderful independent EP’s which have been played by loyal 'Embermembers' from Alberta, CA to Wolverhampton, UK.... and everywhere in between.

The Embers are about collaboration. Song ideas come mainly from Andy & Anthony and are kicked around by the rest of the band at the end of rehearsal. Over a period of time, after repeated kicking, the song takes shape and an original Embers tune is born. This loose process explains why our songs are sometimes difficult to categorise. Rock, country folk, soul & blues all go into the pot and you never quite know what you've got at the end.
